Ad Buy Backed by $1.3 Million Q1 Fundraising Quarter
Anaheim, CA – Today, the Young Kim for Congress campaign announced a $3.7 million ad blitz in the race for California’s newly drawn 40th Congressional District. The ad buy is backed by a $1.3 million Q1 fundraising quarter, bringing Kim’s cash on hand to $5.8 million.
Kim’s ad blitz includes two spots that will run on digital, streaming, and linear television and commences an ad buy that runs through the June 2nd primary.
The first ad titled “100%” highlights Young Kim’s record of voting with President Trump 100 percent of the time. Kim is the only candidate in the race with a 100 percent voting record with President Trump. The ad “100%” can be viewed HERE.

The second ad titled “Truth” contrasts Kim with career politician Ken Calvert, focusing on his more than 30 years in Washington, where he has voted with Nancy Pelosi over 5,000 times and sabotaged the Trump agenda. The ad also highlights Calvert’s votes to provide funding to illegal immigrants, along with increasing his personal wealth by $15 million during his time in office. The ad “Truth” can be viewed HERE.
