ORANGE COUNTY, CA – – A large group of school board members and education leaders have endorsed Young Kim for U.S. Congress. This display of support from the education community, along with her record of standing up for our local schools, solidifies Kim as the ideal candidate for supporting public education and working for the District’s schools and students.
The endorsements come from Trustees and Board Members representing school districts from across the 39th Congressional District. These school districts are as follows:
Brea Olinda Unified School District
Centralia Elementary School District
Chino Valley Unified School District
Fullerton Joint Union High School District
Fullerton School District
Hacienda La Puente Unified School District
La Habra City School District
Lowell Joint School District
North OC Community College District
Walnut Valley Unified School District
Rowland Unified School District
Also notable are the endorsements of Linda Lindholm from the OC Board of Education and Jack Bedell, Trustee President of the OC Board of Education.
“Our teachers and parents know best how to help the students of our district learn and succeed,” said Young Kim. “As a mother of four children that attended local public schools, I know the one-size-fits-all policies coming down from Washington do not work. I will fight to give our parents and teachers a voice, continue to advocate for STEM education and make sure education funding stays in our classrooms.”
