CA-39: Young Kim Announces Raising Over $400,000 in 2nd Quarter with nearly $385,000 Cash-On-Hand

Strong Fundraising Quarter Solidifies Young Kim as one of the Top Republican House Candidates in the Country

Fullerton, CA– Today, Young Kim announced she raised over $400,000 in less than two months and finished with nearly $385,000 cash-on-hand in her first candidate fundraising quarter. The campaign has also garnered overwhelming local support and has earned the endorsements of over 100 local elected officials and all three Republican county party committees — Orange County, Los Angeles, San Bernardino — in the 39th congressional district.

“In six short months, liberal Democrat Gil Cisneros has broken all of his campaign promises and aligned himself with the most extreme liberal members of Congress — voting with socialist AOC 93% of the time,” said Sam Oh, lead strategist for the Young Kim for U.S. Congress campaign. “The residents of California’s 39th district deserve an effective, responsive, service-oriented leader who will be honest with them and fight for them in Washington, DC. That’s why Young Kim has seen an early outpouring of bipartisan support and excitement.”

Former State Assemblywoman Young Kim’s congressional campaign has gotten off to a strong start with the unprecedented early endorsements of over 100 local elected officials and the majority of the California Republican congressional delegation, including House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy.

California’s 39th congressional district overlaps portions of Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties and includes the cities and communities of Anaheim Hills, Brea, Buena Park, Fullerton, La Habra, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Diamond Bar, Hacienda Heights, La Habra Heights, Rowland Heights, Walnut, and Chino Hills.
