Young Kim Posts Strong Fundraising Number Raising $403,796 in 3rd Quarter

Kim Ends with $637,934 Cash-On-Hand; Democrat Cisneros Continues to Break PAC Pledge

Fullerton, CA– The Young Kim for Congress campaign today reported raising $403,796 in her first full fundraising quarter and ended with $637,934 cash-on-hand. In 2018, Kim raised $2.9 million in just ten months and has already raised nearly $820,000 this cycle in less than two quarters.

“The 39th district deserves a leader who knows their issues, has worked in the community, and provides responsive leadership,” said Young Kim, a former State Assemblywoman. “I’m grateful for the growing local support and to have been endorsed by over 70 local leaders — council members, school board members, and community leaders who are looking for positive change.”

“Young Kim is working hard, has an incredible amount of support in the district, and has distinguished herself as one of the strongest and most viable Republican candidates in the 2020 cycle,” said general consultant Sam Oh.

“Meanwhile, Cisneros has clearly shown that in his short time in Congress he has gone full D.C. politician on the voters of this district by saying one thing and doing another. Cisneros continues to break his pledge to not take money from special interest groups and PACs despite pledging that he will not take PAC money. People in this district are recognizing that Cisneros’ voting record is too liberal and can’t be trusted,” added Oh.

The Young Kim for Congress campaign has already established a long list of local and national supporters who support Young Kim for her proven track record of community involvement and delivering results that improve the quality of life for residents.

California’s 39th Congressional District overlaps portions of Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties and includes the cities and communities of Anaheim Hills, Brea, Buena Park, Fullerton, La Habra, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Diamond Bar, Hacienda Heights, La Habra Heights, Rowland Heights, Walnut, and Chino Hills.
