Young Kim’s Strong Business Record Secures Key Bipartisan Business Endorsement
Fullerton, CA – Today, the United States Chamber of Commerce announced their support for Young Kim in the race for California’s 39th Congressional District. Young’s experience as a small business owner, her pro-business record and commitment to getting our economy moving again after the outbreak of COVID-19 were critical in earning this key endorsement.
Ashlee Rich Stephenson, Vice President and National Political Director, U.S. Chamber of Commerce highlighted Young Kim’s track record fighting for policies that benefit 39th District families and businesses.
“Young Kim is the type of leader we need in Congress to create jobs, help businesses recover from COVID-19 and get our economy on the road to recovery. Young has a long record of working across the aisle to advance economic growth, help create jobs, and promote fiscal responsibility.”
U.S. Chamber CEO Thomas J. Donohue commented on the challenges America faces and Young Kim’s continued leadership on economic and job creation.
“As our nation faces many challenges and is collectively working to not just reopen our economy but return to growth and expanded opportunities for all Americans, we need leaders like Young Kim. She has a proven track record of leading responsibly and standing up for good policies. The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Young Kim and looks forward to partnering with her in the future.”
This year, the US Chamber of Commerce made news by supporting a significant number of freshman Democratic members of Congress seeking reelection. Notably, Gil Cisneros did not make their list and the Chamber instead sided with Young Kim for the second election in a row. Young’s commitment to bipartisan, pro-business solutions stood out against Cisneros who supports job killing policies like the PRO Act and increasing taxes on individuals and businesses.
“I could not be more proud to receive the endorsement of our country’s business community. The Chamber of Commerce is doing critical work supporting our businesses and getting Americans back to work as we continue to fight COVID-19,” stated Young Kim. “In Congress, I will always support American businesses and fight for policies that cut taxes and regulations, help businesses grow and create jobs and make the American Dream accessible to the next generation.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization with members from small businesses to local chambers to some of America’s largest corporations. They advocate for pro-business policies that grow the American economy and create jobs. A full list of their bipartisan endorsement recipients can be found here.
