Kim Consolidates Republican and Local Support as She Enters the 2024 Cycle
Yorba Linda, CA – Last week, Congresswoman Young Kim was unanimously endorsed by the California Republican Party as she seeks her third term in Congress next November. National Republicans and local leaders continue to consolidate their support behind the Congresswoman with news that the Democratic Congressional Campaign committee is targeting this seat.
“We need more leaders like Congresswoman Kim in D.C. fighting for our families, our values, and our pocketbooks. The CAGOP is proud to endorse her and will work hard to reelect her so she can continue to represent our voices in Congress,” said Jessica Millan Patterson, Chairwoman of the California Republican Party.
Kim currently represents California’s 40th district, one of 18 Republican-held seats that President Biden won in 2020. Last month, she posted one of the strongest quarterly fundraising hauls in the country led by her vast network of small-dollar, grassroots donors. Cook Political Report rates the seat as Likely Republican.
